This is a Brand New 20 tooth speedometer driven gear for 1961, 1962, & 1963 Dual Path Transmissions (1961, 1962, & 1963 Skylark & Special models). This gear is molded. New seals are included.

In the package there will be a “Speedometer Gear Check List”, you MUST go through all the steps of this check list before installing this new speedometer gear. You must do this to ensure there are no other issues with the speedometer system. Failure to do the check list correctly could result in a damaged/broken gear. For example never use a drill on the end of the speedometer cable to see if the speedometer works, in this case.

Buick used 3 different tooth counts on the 61-63 Dual Path speedometer gears. The 3 choices are: 19, 20, 21. Please remove your old gear and count the number of teeth before purchasing. If you need a different tooth count, please see my other listings or ask.
