This is a brand new gas tank, fuel sending unit, and mounting straps for 1969 & 1970 Buick Riviera models.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION:

The 69/70 Riviera models had the fuel pump built into the fuel sending unit. That specific sending unit is not being made new, nor do I ever think it will be made new. The fuel sending unit in this gas tank package will only work to function your fuel gauge. You will need to purchase a external 12 volt fuel pump from any auto parts store and install that fuel pump outside the tank inline with the fuel line. When you remove your original fuel sending unit there will be 2 wires (tan & blue). The tan wire is the wire you will hook up to this fuel sending unit. The blue wire is the wire you will hook up to the 12 volt external fuel pump that you will purchase from an auto parts store.

This tank comes with a new fill neck. The original tanks were made with the fill neck attached to the tank, however due to shipping reasons the tank was made with a removable fill neck (a new piece of hose and 2 hose clamps are included to attached the fill neck). This is a very nice reproduction tank. These are steel tanks that are painted. This listing also includes a new fuel sending unit and new gas tank mountings straps. This a very nice fuel sending unit. I have test fit this sending unit and it fits correctly. The fuel sending unit has 2 ports. The fuel sending unit is made from stainless steel. The gasket and retaining plate are also included. This gas tank package will be drop shipped from the manufacturer directly to you. This will not add any extra time for shipping.
