Description

This is a brand new USA made Billet Aluminum 1962 – 1966 401 & 425 cubic inch Buick Nailhead engine thermostat housing top. These have been upgraded with a larger lip on the top for a better seal to the radiator hose (see the 5th picture in the listing). A new gasket is also included. This will fit all Nailhead engines and may be needed in a custom application. This is the correct straight up style thermostat housing top for the following years and models:
1963, 1964, 1965, 1966 Riviera
1962, 1963, 1964. 1965, 1966 Wildcat and Electra
1962, 1963 LeSabre and Invicta
1964 LeSabre Station Wagon (with 401 or 425 engine)
1965, 1966 Skylark Grand Sport (with 401 or 425 engine)
This thermostat housing top will all fit the earlier nailhead engines. (1953 – 1961) (264, 322, 364 cubic inch) This may be need for a custom radiator hose application.
